This virus/spam email was a new one to me. A variation on the “spam a bunch of viruses to anyone in the address book” type dealio. But the message/lure to launch the attachment is a little more clever than “I think you’ll like this game.”
It’s obviously fake because since we run our own mail server, Chris and I are the so-called “area808.com” team, and we didn’t send this out. But if someone paying for internet received this, it might seem quasi-legit at first glance. Be on the lookout.
