doing her annual deal where she works a booth for the music boosters. I think Wurstfest needs a different ad agency.

Jimmie gave me her book of family phone numbers with detailed instructions of what to do when the call comes in from Mitch and Hillary. I am deputized and at full alert.

I wish I had gotten more photos of Grace. She looked very cool. This one is from Friday night when she dressed up for a party at Mac Arthur Park. She reprised the punk girl look on Halloween night but with more pink in her hair. Somehow trick-or-treating won out over having more photos taken.

Deirdre did a great job on the costume.

An annual fundraiser for the Honolulu Theatre for Youth

Maggie and Tunji are heavily involved with this group — Maggie used to work for them, is now on the board, and has chaired their fundraising ball the last few years. I designed their original website once upon a time.

The costume ball was called the Fabulous Fifties — it’s the group’s 50th anniversary this year.

Maggie and Tunji won the most creative costume. She’s a 45 record and he’s a turntable.

Tunji made this giant twister board.

We watched clips from It Came From Outer Space during dinner.

It was a lot of fun.

Hope you have a GREAT day, Mitch!
