His birthday is Oct. 14th. We could bar-b-que these here redfish I caught this weekend and have the mother of all fish taco feasts. I never had them on a stringer, we were way up high so we just put them in an ice chest as they were caught. When I stumbled home early that morning after fishing all night, I laid them in the best patch of sunlight I could find for a snapshot. We were fishing in the surf of the Gulf of Mexico on Mustang Island at Port Aransas from the long, high pier. Only they were all caught right up next to the shore in surprisingly shallow water. It was really cool to fish from 25 feet up down into about 18 inches of water. You could see all the fish coming and going. Stingrays, redfish, snook, ribbonfish, trout and millions of mullet. It took all night and it was one of the best fishing trips ever.
