My friend Karen loves to sit on her back patio after work but was always been bothered by flies. I told her about an experience John and I had at a marina near Rockport. They have a patio sitting area that’s completely open air and not a fly in sight. We asked them why there were small plastic bags hanging from the ceiling with water and a penny in them. They said that’s why there are no flies. Karen tried it and it WORKED! She recommends a bag every 3 feet. Here’s an article that explains why this is effective. I’m going to try their suggestion of hanging a bag at each entrance to the home. Last year Taylor killed a ridiculous number of flies. Maybe he’ll have to find a new hobby this summer!
it’s like karaoke acting, they play a pre-recorded audio track and people act it out on stage. This is what Taylor is probably watching right now. Looks like fun.
