….so companies can buy ads and sell them things. Maybe Big Chief tablets and #2 pencils with durable erasers? I haven’t read it all yet but the San Antonio native Steve Earle interview on the front page looks good. Doesn’t it sound like it was written by somebody who might suddenly pitch you a song? Pegged himself even before the word indigo rolled around. To read the entire articles of the online edition you have to pick a user name and password; or you can use Whippleworld and Amphicar.

I know the past year has been hard and stressful for everyone. So, I wanted to let everyone know that I finally have something great to say. I got a job at USAA as a Bank Servicing Specialist. It took almost a month and 3 interviews, 2 computerized exams, and a couple of applications, but I got the job. As long as my background check and drug screening go through (don’t worry - I’m clean, and shame on you if you even thought otherwise) then I will start Oct. 1……

I’m pretty busy so I almost didn’t go but Los Desperadoz ran me out to the barrier island for my birthday to fish these two secluded coves across Aransas Bay from Key Allergo. It’s untouched out there - like a National Geographic nature photo in every direction. We had a perfect day - beautiful water, sunshine, just the right cooling breeze and everybody got
