So some of you like to twist words around and play word games? Now you can play with words for a good cause! Check this out.

For each word you get right, Free Rice will donate 20 grains of rice through United Nations to help world hunger. There are 50 levels in all, but a lot of these words are HARD!!! Enjoy!

Time to start planning the 5th Annual Woodzie. With a little extra effort we could make this the biggest. The 4th Annual blogger blog is still up with some photos but the MySpace page that got all that activity last year is hosed. I had tried to

requires some careful thought in planning your first aid kit. Bet most of us haven’t given it the proper consideration. Somebody sent me a link to a series of mandolin tutorials at the Expert Village site and this video was right next to one of them on the page. I only had a few minutes so I wasted it watching and posting this. Couldn’t help it. Could’ve learned a new chord instead but this just says something about the Internet to me. The “freedom to publish” that the Internet has given us sure is wild.

Willy’s father, Jose Obregon, passed away on Monday. We’re missing him terribly but are glad that he is no longer suffering. You can see him here in an image that I am so grateful Leslie captured two years ago on Jonah’s 3rd birthday.

This is a hippie idea; hippies make the funniest capitalists. You have to read the whole thing. Probably won’t work on it’s own but…. what if it was tied into MySpace? Huh? It might work then. Should be geared to $10,000 instead of $50,000.

out of the ordinary Christmas songs

    November 23rd, 2007 @ 13:33
    Posted by: John

Every Christmas for a long time The Beatles would put out a 45 with a special message to their fan club. I ran across a couple of MP3s of them and a bunch of other interesting Christmas songs. The James Brown song is cool and so is the Roomful Of Blues. The Howdy Doody Christmas show from the 50’s., Joey Ramone, Snoppy’s Christmas… all hits all the time. But, the Rabbits singing Talkin’ ‘Bout Christmas is my favorite. Ok so maybe they don’t sequence well as a playlist but you can pick and choose a rare cut for a smile. The play, forward and back buttons at the top work or click the circle to the right of the title, when it turns yellow that track will play.
