He did the original adaptation for this Whippleworld wordpress template. We were a small step on his road to fame. :) He’s a great guy, very talented. This came from Maggie:

      • Jimmie : GO SPURS GO!!!!
      • John : if you mean literally where, he's from Bloomington. We met him because we did a house concert with him two years ago and became friends. Deirdre first became a fan because he's played John Prine shows for 12 years. Plays on his records, too.
      • guest_5987 : he was amazingly good. where did he come from?
      • John : Jason said he loved the songwriter's workshop and being able to play for everybody. We had a tent for him and he said he slept great. He's a trooper. We talked for a long time and he completely got the Woodzie. He wants to come back next year and do the same thing. And yes, he got to his next gig and then back to Indiana.
      • Ann/Mom : Son, I didn't hear any stories about how Jason did with the camp out? Have you heard from him since the Woodzie? Hope he made his next gig O.K..
      • John : Tyler, hope you've gotten better for the weekend, Taylor seems to be totally over it but Evan had a week of just being a little sick but yesterday it really hit him. Everybody should watch out for us, we're probably still contagious.
      • John : Helen, I'll send you an email with the instructions. We saw Suzanne for a minute last night.
      • Tyler : Trying work again- lets hope I don't get sent home again- I feel better at least
      • Helen Taylor-Green : Enjoyed looking at the photos. We all miss Dallas Louis. I haven't figured out how to send a photo of baby Grace but hope to see you soon. Love, Helen and Kelly (Ken and Pat's daughter)
      • John : we're going to the Spurs game. This is one they can't lose if they're going to have any chance to dig themselves out from being down 2-0 in this second round.
      • Tyler : I went to work this morning and then got sent home at lunch- I hate being sent home for being sick it makes me feel like I'm 12
      • John : I took Taylor in for a strep test and it was negative. Of course the viral thing can last longer and there's nothing you can do but ride it out. I'm hoping they can both go back to school tomorrow.
      • Deirdre : Tyler has strep as well. Hope you feel better soon.
      • Tyler : I'm sick with strep- I hope its just the flu for them- I can barely move
      • Taylor : it was good! but i wasn't feeling well.
      • Ann/Mom : Hope my boys are feeling better, and I'm anxious to hear about the play. Taylor call Grandma when you feel better please. Lots of love.
      • John : Mike, the boys are both having a little bout with the flu or something. I probably can't tomorrow.
      • John : yeah, Jimmie and I are watching it on T.V. For those who don't know, that's one of the major historical landmark buildings in San Antonio. The pride of the westside. Really tragic.
      • guest_5738 : Our Lady Of The Lake is burning right now
      • Michael F : Hey Big John, I am off the Cheatham's on Wed. care to come out and purvey some tunes?
      • John : the first step is to have hootenannies. Birthdays for example - skip Chuck E. Cheese and throw a hoot. Everybody knows people who play and they need a place with a small group of clappers to play to. To grow the Woodzie spirit hootenannies are the roots. Hoots are the roots. :)
      • Michael F : John and Jimmie are just the kind of folks that attract cool people, and make people want to be cool. I think thats why the Woodzie happens.
      • guest_8465 : the woodzie was the coolest family music thing I've ever seen. john said he wishes people seeing it would try to create events like it. but it takes a lot of different talent and abilities to put that on. i wouldn't know anybody else who could do it. these "family and friends" are something special
      • Ann/Mom : Jason Wilber was just the nicest person,Jesse's mom Dee says she spent the whole time he was eating just talking to him. She didn't know he was VIP!!!His music is good also.
      • Ann/Mom : This years Woodzie had to be the best ever. What a great group of people,so much talent just the greatest. Iloved it. Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to get this ready. I could go on & on. Much love
      • guest_7328 : we're SUPER excited about the Woodzie!
      • Tyler : Gosh my job is hard- I'm going to DC in June and Miami in July- those silly conferences
      • John : We're expecting excellent weather for the Woodzie - I hope everybody's planning on coming!
      • John : whereas for several seconds that felt like hours it appeared things would very much not be all right, in the end, all things were.
