slow load but very spacey. * This guy in Japan hopes to have his paper airplane launched from the Space Station. * These panoramas are of artists’ workspaces. The Quicktime versions load much faster than the Flash. * Dad was saying he wished he had a piano to tune his new uke. Here’s a free one you don’t have to dust. * Here’s this Penn and Teller thing again. * Folk versions of Hip Hop hits. The first one is really good. * Did you celebrate International Delete Your MySpace Page Day? * This guy took art photos of his daughter all through her life. Wild. * Why the spy satellite won’t fall on your head. You hope. *
Parke Hedges and the Examiners at the Folk Life Festival:
Parke’s band will be playing at the Folk Life Festival again this June 13 - 15th. I just wanted to send this out early so you can put it on your calendar. If you can join us, that would be great and we’d love to see you there.
As soon as I have the schedule, I’ll let you know the specific date(s) and time. Last year they played twice (Saturday and Sunday). The Folk Life Festival is a great San Antonio tradition that provides a place for all cultures to educate the rest of us through dance and various programs that highlight aspects of each culture. There’s food, rides, games…(did I say FOOD) and it’s just a great time to be outside.
More as it develops!

With the right artillery!
Come to think about it, this would be most useful in nursing homes.
You’re in there somewhere.
: 1 2 3 4 Each of those four links are to flickr sets. At the lower left of each slideshow you can adjust the speed to “fast” and that makes them flow better or just click that right arrow to move through them manually. Here in the next couple of weeks you’ll start seeing a new mix. If you have some you want in there please email them.
I really like the actor Viggo Mortenson. He played the dad in David Cronenberg’s “A History of Violence” which was a great movie. Now he is nominated for his part in another of the director’s films, “Eastern Promises“. I just read Roger Ebert’s review and it sounds great.
Course I’m still trying to get to the theater to see “No Country for Old Men” which is nominated for best picture this year (8 total nominations).
he’s streaming video from a cruise ship over his cell phone here. I thought all our Hawaii alumni would dig this. Anybody recognize any of these things they’re talking about?
Easy mistake to make. Here’s a VERY funny studio thing from three years ago recorded by one of our engineers.
