I found these 100 year old cylinder recordings. Thomas Edison was the Clive Davis of his day, the first famous head of a record label. This was the first successfully mass produced audio media, they’re what the whole record business thing evolved from. They were the start and we’ve just recently seen the beginning of the end. They were five bucks each, wild huh?
