There’s lots of successful sites for trading books and CDs; this is a website where you trade clothes. We could trade pearl snap shirts for silk smoking jackets. * Read at least some of this Free Range Kids site if you’re interested in the conversation about how kids aren’t allowed to be kids anymore. It’s TRUE…. and we’re guilty. * Get Ready! Just 6 months before all these things happen. * VERY INTERESTING: This is the very cool story of how this guy impressed the DIY world with his movie making skills. Watch the time lapse movie and then the video on how he made it on a tiny budget. Incredible. If you have trouble with RealMedia or Quicktime, you can see it on YouTube here. * Old photos of Cape Canaveral * Another service to help you write and publish a book * Build a model airplane on this really slick website * A website called “Exciting Links For Boring Days” * Drawing with ink on the wood of acoustic guitars. I always thought it would be cool to take an old guitar and use a wood burning tool to burn designs into it. * This site digs into the server for the LiveJournal blog service and pulls up the last 50 photos uploaded. Very interesting but you never know what you’ll see.

the audio is dicey at first but it straightens out almost right away. A percentage of this is very obvious and you already know it but a whole lot of it is very good. His book “Here Comes Everybody” is what some smart people are reading to try to get a handle on where group action and interaction on the Internet is headed. Spending a little time listening to this is almost like reading the book because I think he covers his main ideas.

playing guitars, swinging in the hammock, swimming, fishing, feasting…everybody seemed to have a great time. This private, old timey campground is going to go the way of Blue Hole though, it’s up for sale. There’ll be condos there before you know it. Until then, for anybody who wants a day on the river, you can do what we did on any day. Call them and reserve a spot and if it’s just day use, if you’re not camping overnight and it’s a small family, it’s only $15. It’s a goldmine of a place and hardly anybody knows about it.

She emailed us, I’ve been mentioning it around to a bunch of people. We’re going to try to get over there. We went with Glenn, Lynne and Kim two years ago and it was awesome. Missed it last year because, like this year, it’s just a hectic weekend for us. I’d love to see Brunella and also Charlie and Susan Whipple will be there. Here’s the website. That’s Brunella with her back to the camera in the photo with the guy holding the plant tray. :) She’s a treasure to this world.

you’re invited. We’ve been here before, it’s kinda hidden on the Comal across from Landa park but up at the branch of the river behind the Wurstfest grounds. Fifty or sixty of you were there when we had Taylor’s 18th birthday back in October so you may remember exactly how to get there. It’s really, really fun. That was the last river party in fall and this will be the first river party for this summer. I just got off the phone with
