For those of you who have never been, you really should! As a kid I used to spend alot of time here, one of my violin teachers would play outside and I would go down every chance I could to listen. They have a weekly show on NPR and XM that is live. The Landing

Chris, I don’t know how I could agree with you more. Anyone who makes any attempt to say they are proud of San Antonio music needs to understand what’s going on with the Jim Cullum Jazz Band. To be the best in the world at what you do is such an amazing accomplishment. How many of us are the best in the world at what we do? Without any question, in that style, they are absolutely the best in the world.
I’m so happy that you made this post. It may sound nutty but it’s a highlight for me on this blog. I wish more people understood what in the hell we’re talking about.
There is only one way to understand it, either go down to the Riverwalk and sit in the audience or tune into the Live From The Landing broadcasts on NPR, Chris and I know that listening to Jazz sounds like “drink this cod liver oil” but this is something on a whole different level.
Just do it, we must have earned a little bit of musical credibility with you. Listen and next we see you let us know if you got it.
