is coming back for a show, we’re going to do it at Riley’s on the 19th of October at 4:00. Plan on it. Donna and Parke Hedges and Deirdre and Glenn and all the Sunday House Concert semi-regulars and some of the Woodzie faithful will be up here helping with it. Please spread the word. Tim will also be teaching a songwriting workshop to a small group of people starting at 2:00 so if you want to take advantage of that let either me or Glenn know. Tim played for us in 2006 and everybody loved him and he specifically asked to come back so, like Jason Wilber, he’s now inducted into Whippleworld.

I was having lunch with a good friend yesterday, he was taking a lunch break from the painful task of laying off employees, and we were talking about the chaos on Wall Street. How those followers follow another follower. He told the story of a guy training for Veitnam who was being shown what berries and roots he could eat if he was starving in the jungle. The young guy was from the city and knew nothing about plants or survival and it wasn’t sinking in so he thought hard and asked about this shortcut, “If I see a monkey eating it would it be safe?” The slow talking old instructor said “If you see a monkey… eat the monkey“.

“Really” and “very” are almost never needed. Really, don’t use very very often. Really very, very really very bad. Were you to want to write a story Precise Edit will professionally edit it for $11.50 a page. This is a major step they take… remove instances of these 10 words.
