this is going to be the future for putting photos up. I’m still working out the bugs BUT it makes these tidy little thumbnails and when you click on one it brings it up in a cool Web 2.0 style “lightbox”. Click one and you’ll see what I mean. I have to figure out the problem with the Flickr Zeitgeist box staying in the foreground. When you’re through viewing a photo just click it again and it’ll fade out and you can pull up another one.
Try the “show as slideshow” at the top of the stack of thumbnails but after you get that little slideshow going what’s great is to click the full screen option – it’s a little hard to spot, it’s a small icon at the right edge of the popup nav bar that shows the photo name. If you’re in the slideshow mode and not seeing that brown nav bar then mouse over near the bottom of whatever photo is playing and it should come up. For the first time we can view photos full screen – it streams off our server and it’s like watching a DVD presentation. To find more albums to try this on, look over below the left side of the header where it says “click here – photo albums”. Start any of those slideshows and try them in full screen. It’s great.

Son, I think that is just great! I am already enjoying it. Thank you

I’m glad.
The good thing about this is that the photos can both go in posts AND in albums in the sidebar so they aren’t covered up by new posts and lost in the time line.
Over the years we can build up a shared digital photo bank. It can be our own Flickr.
