Has anyone ever seen the show Clean Sweep? My Darlin’ could totally be the host of “Clean Sweep San Antonio”. He has an amazing ability to completely clear a space and galvanize everyone into organizational mode. You’ll have to click the “more” button to see the following picture because it requires the disclaimer “some viewers may find images disturbing” . . .In one day, Willy too our junk room from this

to this

Jonah finally has a room all his own. Of course, Jonah always thought the whole house was his room – so he’s not sure this is the best deal. And while the walls still need some work and we’re still culling broken and outgrown toys, it is amazing how liberating it feels not to have that junk room lurking behind an almost permanently closed door.
I’m telling you, if Willy was not so good at the alarm business – I’d start renting him out as the Clean Sweeper!

Wow, great job. When are you available Willy?
That middle bedroom of that house started being a storage room sometime back in the 70’s, right? After Renee moved out and you had your room and there wasn’t another kid to put in it. Mother used it as a large closet for most of the time I can remember. We only had Casey for the years we lived there and it was a music room/storage closet….. you guys just took it to a whole new “shelfless pile of stuff” level. The before picture looks like a modern art sculpture of the consumer age.

Kudo’s to Willie! It is very remarkable, I have seen it myself. Jonah has the Large Bench Toy box that I had bought for Deirdre, then we kept it full of toys for Casey & all grandchildren. He insisted that I come see his toybox & set down and let him show me how he could get around from his bed to the floor. He is excited to have his own “space’. Willie is great at getting rid of things, they have all been so determined. They did it. Yeah!

Where does the “Toy” end.. . .And “Life” begin?
Maybe this is where Jonah finds out!
