With a pair of long johns, a good coat and gloves and a full face ski mask under your helmet you can ride in pretty cold weather. I’ll also take a ski mask sometimes when winter fishing. Jim, can you knit me one of these? I think it’d be a real conversation starter.

Mitch and I are looking for examples of good musician promotional websites. I got an email from him day before yesterday that simply said “I like this one” and I do, too. I love it. I think Robbie Fulks’ website is our current favorite example of a tasteful, functional site. No flash or artsy slow loading graphics it just features the content and makes it easy to get to. The weather is nuts here in Tropical Texas with fog each morning and a beautiful clear sky at sunset; which continues for a few hours into the night, followed by fog.
So if you have a clear sunset this evening, remember to watch the conjunction of Venus with the cresent Moon above the western horizon in the early twilight. Very beautiful. And if you have clear dark sky above you, look for the green comet in the southeast, and golden Saturn in the east.

I’ve had emails with this guy, he’s great. I have the sister to his motorcycle, same year same everything, in boxes in my storeroom. They were probably built within weeks of each other. Every time I see videos of his trip I get closer to wanting to restore my V7.
That’s a press like the one Dad has. There’s an older and a newer style of C&P 10×15 and Dad’s is the newer with a few more features but it’s basically the exact same machine you see here. I’m telling you, it’s cool. There must be some new options for creating plates now, that one looks plastic.
