This online magazine is so much better than any other I’ve found. Check it out and tell me what you think!
Here’s a blurb from them about them:
Are you ready to Betty? Betty’s ready for you! We offer an intimate place for you to gather with other women and find entertainment, news, information and opinion about everything from relationships to careers to finding YOU.

So who is Betty?

AND THEN THE FIGHT STARTED

My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, ‘What’s on TV?’ I said, ‘Dust.’

And then the fight started…

******************************************

My wife and I are watching “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, “Do you want to have sex?”
“No,” she answered. I then said, “Is that your final answer?”
She didn’t even look at me this time, simply saying, “Yes.”
So I said, “Then I’d like to phone a friend.”

And then the fight started….

******************************************

I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road
and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn’t believe it…. He was a DWARF!!!

He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, “I AM NOT HAPPY!!!”

So, I looked down at him and said, “Well, then which one are you? ”

And then the fight started…..

William_Crouch_Whipple_Family_ca1875.jpg

Dear John —

I’ve just had the good fortune to come across a photo of William Crouch Whipple and family in a box of photos I’m going through; I’ll attach a scan of it. A note on the back of the photo explains that the children in the back row are arranged in order of age, with the oldest, Louisa, standing behind her father; the youngest, Earnest, is sitting between mother and father. The photo appears to have been taken about 1875.

Back row, left to right: Hannah Whipple, Oscar Whipple, Orva Whipple, Orin Whipple, Louisa Whipple.

Front row, left to right: Hannah (Geer) Whipple, Earnest Whipple, William Crouch Whipple

Perhaps this will give you some help in identifying any old photos you have from that era.

Keep in touch.

Sam and Dave 1967. Doesn’t look like video at all, looks like it was shot on film by somebody who knew what they were doing. It wasn’t on a sound stage it was at live show in Germany so how they got the lighting, the audio, the mix… everything just perfect for a one off performance is amazing. Be sure you’ve selected the HQ setting. It cuts off right before it finishes which is a shame. Listen to the reflections in the hall, of course behind the vocal but listen to the snare, that’s what the most expensive reverb unit in the world struggles to match. This is one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen. If you like this, here’s a player that will play a dozen songs from the show…..

My wonderful daughter Casey gave me a dryer for my birthday! I’ve been so happy to be home this weekend just doing laundry! My old dryer has been out of commission for months, and I’ve been using the clothesline (and probably still will to some extent), but today’s fabrics are not meant to be line dried. Knits just have to have a spin in the machine or they get stiff and covered in lint.
I thought my old dryer was good but I was wrong! This one is so much better. It’s very large capacity and gets everything dry very quickly. My old one, I had to run most loads 2-3 times. Honestly.
Thanks again to Casey and Sean for bringing me this super gift!
