Hello,

After a long day at the hospital to remove the metal hardware in Mitch’s leg, we are safely away. Mitch was delayed in the hospital longer than we expected, but is home in his own bed as of 5:30 Saturday evening. He is resting comfortably and is still groggy from the meds for surgery. I expect him to be more himself around late afternoon, to early evening tomorrow Sunday. Thank you for everyone’s calls, text messages and loving thoughts! We couldn’t have done this without the help of our nephew Evan Whipple who willing came to SA for the weekend to help out by hanging and playing with David. More updates to follow.

A true Tex-Mex hit released just this week. He did this perfectly, what a genius cut to put on his new record. I’ve never been a huge George Strait fan until this song. This is real Texas music and him doing this song so perfectly is now a part of Texas music history. Mariachis all across the world are going to playing this song forever.
