Mother Nature My Teacher in Life!

Thank you for your Yosemite story. I agree with you. Mother Nature give-ith and she also can take-ith away.
Unfortunately there are so many people nowadays that think because they had received something wonderful, beautiful and free they get the idea that they will receive it again and again if they just don’t do anything wrong their reward is owed to them and are just waiting for this divine blessing to reappear because they are so deserving and they are worth it.
I did not hear Mother Nature say anything like that!, did you?
If you are worth it you don’t have to tell anybody you are, especially God.
You will probably recognize the Buckminister Fuller twist to my thinking philosophy, and I do thank him for it, especially when I realize that he thinks like me and receives his information in parables that he can trust and knows how to use this unity in truth in his earthly guidance information.
If you have a problem of any kind reduce it to it’s simplest form rather than complicating it thinking you are going somewhere better which must be between here and infinity.
I can remember when I was about 30 my son Russell wasn’t jumping through the hoop just like I thought he should and I was getting resistance to my authority. Some parents get that, you know.
I was looking out the upstairs back window of my home at a large vacant lot and in my minds eye I saw nothing on it except a small acorn that had been brought by a rare form of nature since there was no oak tree to drop it there.
I saw the wind blow it slightly until it cradled into a crevice in the bare earth. Then a rain came letting it nestle into the moist soil not knowing exactly what to do but, sensing an awareness of knowing which way was up and which way was down and a sprout and a root began to work through the opening in the seed shell and the little acorn knew it was more than nothing.
Time passed and life progressed. Laying in the sun during the day and cooling in the condensed moisture of dawn.
Day by day with light, moisture, the little chute grew upward and the root went down. We call this science tropisms, but, they are really not, they are just laws of Mother Nature.
Months went by and the seasons changed. The warm summer leaves now a small tree and if all had gone right a greater time of existence was experienced and the changes in life goes on. The cold winds blow and it stands alone bending to the forces that be.
It lets go of some of the no longer needed leaf food factories that had been thoughtfully supplied by good old Mother Nature and the energy has been stored it in it’s roots now and firmly in the ground. Wow, All this and it’s not even a year old.
Spring has come and the little oak tree now has experienced a year cycle of life, but, please notice a few more changes. It can now choose how many leaves to make and how much trunk it can afford to grow. and yes, it is looking for a better tomorrow.
Now, the little tree, has somehow missed the lawn mower, the horse and dog trails and the critters that like to eat tender oaks.
Pretty much the same thing happens during the next few years dodging the extreme hot and cold weather the mighty oak has become a creation of Mother Nature, but, is about all you can see in it’s lifetime till now.
Something new is happening. Another acorn appears and drops to the ground under the tree and guess what! A new cycle starts,
But, notice the differences. The new little tree now has the advantages of having better nourishment because of the leaf decay mixing the proper “oak food” with the soil and holding moisture better and longer. It is big enough now for people to walk around it and if lucky enough a mighty oak has grown and will changed the world as mighty oaks do.
The process continues until a forest of oak trees now cover the vacant lot. But, Look at what also is happening. The first oak is no longer the biggest and as more time passes you will see a taper of height and strength and abundance toward the edge of the forest making the younger oaks more magnificent that the original oak ever was. In fact the original osk had fallen and died and decayed for new trees to grow in it’s place better!
Now comes the bottom line to my vision and Mother Natures lesson. If my son does not grow up to be a better man than I, I did not do my job here.
Think about it!
and thank you Bucky Fuller.
