First, I wish to make it clear that the term “appellation” is not reserved for wine connoisseurs. So if you are a wine snob, you need read no further. This has to do with women. And that is, when addressing a woman or referring to a woman, which appellation should be used and in what context?

The cold front warnings said to expect a temperature drop before morning so I put a backlog on and went to bed. I awoke about 4 A.M. to this warm crackling fire and the feeling that Russell was close by. He loved that fireplace and enjoyed early morning like I do. The memories we had here sipping coffee and planning the projects for the day. I was thinking more dry wood to have ready would be good! I was just sitting here thinking about my theory that old memories are really a part of Heaven.

Her opinion on chasing fame kinda says it all. That story was done a while back – she did her Tuesday night party at the Continental Club in Austin for 15 years before taking a break but now she’s back picking up where she left off. Here’s a list of her shows in December. I want to stand right at the front of the stage during a Hippie Hour and smile up at Toni Price while she sings. That’s been the place to be for a long time and would be the place to be today in the musical universe. She’s a treasure.

Bank Robbers

Remember the stories and the movie about the former bank robbers over in Uvalde who had “paid their debt to society” and were now “retired”. Well, they and their victims were lucky that no one got killed. Out in West Texas in the 20’s and 30’s it was almost like gangs had to stand in line to take a turn at robbing a bank.
