Sometimes we cry!
DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP.
I AM NOT THERE; I DO NOT SLEEP.
I AM A THOUSAND WINDS THAT BLOW;
I AM THE DIAMOND GLINTS ON SNOW.
I AM THE SUNLIGHT ON RIPENED GRAIN;
I AM THE GENTLE AUTUMN’S RAIN.
WHEN YOU AWAKEN IN THE MORNINGS HUSH.
I AM THE SWIFT UPLIFTING RUSH
OF QUIET BIRDS IN CIRCLED FLIGHT.
I AM THE SOFT STAR THAT SHINES AT NIGHT;
DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND CRY,
I AM NOT THERE; I DID NOT DIE.

About 30 years ago I begin noticing people running through red lights. Instead of slowing down and stopping in a sane safe manor the would speed up in order to beat the light which is the worse time to speed up! If a car coming from the other direction happens to have become a “ME FIRST PEEP”, too. This also was the time automobile insurance begin. We were told that the accident rate would go up because now we were not really responsible for property loss and damage and we learned to be less careful instead of being more careful. Records showed that accidents went up 8.8 times more than before. But. Just look at how many jobs it created! Insurance people gambling on your life with your own money. Paint and body work became the largest trade taught in all our prisons. Chop Shops sprung up everywhere. Car theft went ramped because the insurance paid for the drivers responsibility. Political efforts have been used to correct the very problems they created. They have made a little gain on the problems but lost a hundred percent more in lawyer fees and under the table money deals.
We both know that only the driver can keep him or her self from having an accident by thinking about how they are driving, hands on he wheel and feet on the pedals and thinking SAFETY!
