Sounds like a good scrabble word. But it’s the law in Iran that allows “an eye for an eye” type of punishments. Recently a woman who was disfigured and blinded by an acid attack decided not to go through with the decision granted her to see have her attacker blinded with acid in one eye as she watched. She said the forgives him.
What would you do? What would I do?
I don’t think anyone knows til they’re right there.
I’ve seen many injustices go unpunished, and often thought that personal vengeance is a reasonable response. Now, I’m not so sure.
It’s probably good that our laws are carried out by dis-interested third parties. Society doesn’t need for punishments to be stopped because of kindness or fear on the part of the victim.
Oh wait, happens with domestic violence all the time. Never mind.

HBTV: Depth of Speed – Simple Soul from HBTV on Vimeo.

Depth of Speed was born from a desire of story, travel, and a love of anything automotive related. Next year my wife and I will be taking to the streets to uncover and document the greatest stories from the automotive world. From coast-to-coast and from top to bottom, finding the best stories will take the highest priority. Every time I meet someone new or attend an event I amazed at the depth, passion, and love that the automotive world

Don’t be like the gamer who died at 20 (TWENTY!!!) from a pulmonary embolism. Take care of yourself! Maybe set a timer that goes off ever hour or two so you remember to move your blood around properly and avoid deadly clots.
And while I’m at it, everyone needs 10-30 minutes of sun every day to get enough vitamin D. So if you’re not doing that you should take at least 3000 IU/day. Seriously.
Read this article from lifehacker to learn much more. When in the history of human kind have we been so sedentary and received so little sunlight? Our unborn babies are growing without enough vitamin D (a possible explanation for autism???). When we go into sunlight, our bodies go crazy making the stuff – would that happen if we did not need it?
I think not. Read and decide.

Our good friend Pam sent us this info she found on the Internet:

Captain John Whipple

This treatise reviews documentation sources and historical literature on Captain John and Sarah Whipple of Dorchester, Massachusetts and Providence, Rhode Island and their immediate descendants. This is the fourth in a series of articles included in a book presently being written by the authors. As such, it is a work in progress.

Arrival at Dorchester

Early seventeenth century Massachusetts Bay Colony was a two-year-old primitive theocratic settlement of approximately 2000 inhabitants when a teenage youth named John Whipple first set foot on its

We’ve been promoting Firefox as the go-to browser here at WhippleWorld for quite a while. And we tried not to get too personal and insult those of you clinging to Internet Explorer. But this new study has found that IE users are, ahem, less intelligent than those choosing Firefox, Chrome or Safari. Sorry, but it’s true. Numbers don’t lie.
So switch to Firefox, fool!!

Did I type that out loud???
