Yep, that’s Jill’s sparkling smile. Looks like a Corpus Christi sky but I can’t place what they standing on.

Agreed on the smile and Corpus Christi Sky.
Just a hunch and you know how I am with hunches.
Along about 1960 the pier was taken out by mother nature and a wild western wind and was not rebuilt. Instead the Jones (a next door neighbor),built a new one with some kind of agreement was made to use it was far to the right and that left the Moodys’ without that convenient access they once had so a cabled boat launcher was improvised to lift Harley’s boat over the sea wall. It had some tie down protectors that looked something like what you see. The Jones were the Corpus Christi Ford Dealer and the Moodys’ got a new Ford Falcon that year.

Yeah, it’s a boat. Did Jill ever go to Uncle Lester’s place on Medina Lake? This was a slide from the same roll of film as the one earlier in the week of Granny and Granddad in front of the horses. Doesn’t mean the camera didn’t go down to Corpus to finish the roll.
For any readers who aren’t sure who’s who, Mike and Jill are some of the youngest of my father’s mother’s younger sister’s kids. Dad’s first cousins.
Mike is super cool and I’ve been in love with Jill Moody all my life. She smiles like that when you tell her something funny.
