…had a great time, took a bunch of photos. I had the use of a professional quality Canon L series telephoto lens for the weekend. Makes a big difference. This is Butch Hancock.
Francis and Abigail Whipple, Westborough, Part 5 was posted this evening. They lived during the time that led up to our Declaration of Independence. Westborough is in Worcester County which was a hot bed of rebellion before the battle of Lexington and Concord April 19, 1775. Much of the discontent originated in Worcester County and if you are interested in the beginnings of our Independence from Great Britain, I strongly recommend you read this post. Somehow we always remember that projected memory of your very first accepted mate when you grow up. This very private information is gathered through the years by all children both male and female and does effect our choice of this treasured counterpart to life. Usually it is a movie star or maybe just a kid down the block or maybe just the one you “wish upon a star”. Most of us never get close or don’t think they got close an chose someone at a weakened opportunity. Some held out and created their own private love story. Ones we visioned in song and dance that became a language of love only expressed by others that traveled the same path.
Mine was Margaret O’Brien.
