Francis and Abigail Whipple, Westborough, Part 5 was posted this evening. They lived during the time that led up to our Declaration of Independence. Westborough is in Worcester County which was a hot bed of rebellion before the battle of Lexington and Concord April 19, 1775. Much of the discontent originated in Worcester County and if you are interested in the beginnings of our Independence from Great Britain, I strongly recommend you read this post.
