Happy 15th Birthday, Grace!

God relishes surprise. We want lives of simple, predictable ease — smooth, even trails as far as the eye can see — but God likes to go off-road. He provokes us with twists and turns. He places us in predicaments that seem to defy our endurance and comprehension — and yet don’t. By his love and grace, we persevere. The challenges that make our hearts leap and stomachs churn invariably strengthen our faith and grant measures of wisdom and joy we would not experience otherwise.

He sent a ton of great ones. and movies. We didn’t get the big slideshow going at the end of the night but we’re going to put a really slick one together online so it can be here all year. We’ll try to do it in a way that everybody can download the photos that they want. I think there’s going to be hundreds and hundreds of photos to put your own collection together from. Everybody else who had a camera there, please get me your photos.
The copy was written by Saustex Media but we’re posting it because Sexto Sol invites Whippleworlders to come to the San Antonio band showcase at South By Southwest. We know you guys are heavy into San Antonio music.
